Aaron Civale and the Cleveland Guardians will be facing the New York Yankees. Aaron Civale has a 4.92 ERA and 24.1% strikeout rate. Civale has been averaging 1.0 strikeouts per inning, which would require him to go at least 4.0 innings which is extremely likely. The Yankees have a 22.5% strikeout rate and 11.0% swinging strike rate as well as a 18.5 ISO. I expect the Guardians to have a tight leash on Civale, since this is a must win and they have an awesome bullpen that is fresh. However, I think this is a good matchup for him if he gets rolling.

The Guardians have a 18.2% strikeout rate and 9.1% swinging strike rate as well as a 12.9 ISO. This line is just too low for Nestor. Over 4.5 strikeouts is also worth considering, but he may not go too deep.
