Lauri Markkanen (UTA) Under 3.5 3-Pointers

Lauri Markkanen has been leading the Utah Jazz in both points and rebounds per game this season, with an impressive average of nearly 25 points per game. He’s a dynamic player with a lot of hustle on the court and has been attempting about 7 3-pointers per game. This is over a 15% increase from his past season with both the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls. Despite this, he’s still only shooting at about 40% from behind the arc.

With an average of 3 3-pointers made per game this season, Lauri Markkanen has stayed consistent in this range. However, in the last 10 games, his average has dipped to about 2.9 3-pointers per game.

While this is only a slight decline, it’s worth noting for tonight’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Based on his recent performance, I would lean towards him taking under 3.5 3-pointers.

It’s also worth noting that in 7 out of the last 10 games, Lauri Markkanen has hit 3 or fewer 3-pointers in each game. Although this doesn’t change the fact that he’s still an outstanding player, it gives us a better idea of what to expect from him in tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Spencer Dinwiddie (BKN) Over 19 Points

At the start of this season, Spencer Dinwiddie was averaging about 18 points per game with the Dallas Mavericks. However, since he got traded to the Brooklyn Nets, he has been on a roll, with an average of close to 21 points per game in the 3 games he’s played with the Nets. Notably, he has scored over 25 points in 2 of those games, making him a great asset to the team.

Dinwiddie is an amazing player who has been solidifying himself as a leader for the Nets. With the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant trades completely changing the Brooklyn’s roster, Dinwiddie has become one of the few playmakers for the team. He’ll need to step up and put up points if they want to stay competitive in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat. Thankfully, he’s definitely capable of it.

Tonight’s matchup against the Miami Heat will be a challenging one for the Nets. However, with Dinwiddie’s talent and impressive recent record, he is sure to make a significant impact on the game. He should put up points.
