It’s time for Monday Night Football today.

Tonight we have the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers are favorites at homeThe Rams are getting 1.5 points from Vegas.

The Los Angeles Rams have a record of 3-1 as underdogs since 2021. They aren’t dogs very often…

Last week was Jimmy Garoppolo’s first start after Trey Lance went out, he looked less than impressive. Hopefully this week the nerves and rust is cleared from his game.

This Los Angeles Rams defense will look to keep pressure on Garoppolo, the 49ers will need to work hard to neutralize characters like Aaron Donald to keep their quarterback upright. The 49ers will be running with a banged-up offensive line too, so this will be even tougher for them.

The Rams haven been off to a slow start with their offense. They made some moves over the off-season as well as lost some key players to injury, but they are starting to find their identity.

This season, Cooper Kupp accounts for over 40% of the Rams’ catches and nearly 40% of the team’s receiving yards. The Rams really need to find a way to get more involvement out of Tyler Higbee and Allen Robinson II to alleviate some of that pressure on Kupp.

This game will likely be scrappy on both sides, but I lean towards favoring the Rams in this one. They are simply in a better spot and seemingly more prepared for this matchup.

Bet Recommendation: Rams Moneyline

Allen Robinson II (LAR) Over 38.5 Total Receiving Yards

Although Robinson has only exceeded this line once this year, but his usage has been strong. He’s been getting a lot of looks this year, around 5 targets per game, and I anticipate that the Rams will try to spread the ball around the field a bit more this week.

Especially in this matchup where Kupp will likely take a lot of the 49ers attention, Robinson should be able to find a path to success.

Jeff Wilson Jr. (SF) Over 69.5 Total Rushing + Receiving Yards

The 49ers have established themselves as a run-first offense and tonight should be no different. He has exceeded this line on rush yards alone in his last two games and has seen 2+ pass targets in every game this season.

This line is just too low for a guy getting a ton of work against a banged up offensive line.
